Compiling of sample project is excellent (2.6). However when looking at DocumentForm.cs errors abound in that the VS 2010/2013 environment state that they cannot load the SciLexer.dll module required to show the control on the form.

The drop of the controller in either VS2010 or VS2013 occurs with both 2.5 and 2.6 release.

Mode Debug AnyCPU.

Suggestions for drag drop of control appreciated.

Tried this, but it did not work.

Found a vague lead in the open the .dll's where it is mentioned that the Scintilla dll requires a pathname. Sooo.

VS2010->Tools-> Options->Envrionment->Add-in Security
Click on <add> and put the path of where ScintillaNet.dll and the corresponding .dll's are located

Solution found....

Copy to the Windows\SysWOW64 subdirectory the following files:
SciLexer.dll <- One might be able to place in the System32, however this allowed the VS editor to work properly.
SciLexer64.dll
ScintillaNET.dll

The SciLexer(64).dll has to be in the "search path" so that Visual Studio can find it at design time. Follow the instructions in the link below, paying particular attention to the section titled: Configuring the Search Path.
