Hi,

I've created a custom configuration file based on the mssql lexer. However, I find the yellow for numbers and brackets a bit light on a white background. I am trying to figure out how to change that. I tried adding

<style Name="NUMBER" ForeColor="darkgoldenrod"/>

to the style file but that didn't change anything. Could someone give me any pointers.

Cheers, Jurgen

Hi Jurgen,

regarding to the lexer you are using you must check, if the lexer contains the Style you try to set.

Look at the txt Files in ..\<ScintillaSrc>\Configuration\Builtin\LexerStyleNames\<lexername>.txt

But I give you my class for the Scintilla Configuration if you want it.

And for the color just use the Color.FromArgb function to convert your color.

So your Line should look like

<style Name="NUMBER" ForeColor="-16744448"/>

Brilliant; those txt files with the style names is what I was looking for. Thanks a lot!

Named colors do work too. The config uses a System.Drawing.ColorConverter
