MakeUpperCase with German umlauts [solved]

Hi,

I just found another strange thing with german umlauts.

If you try to change the case with

Commands.Execute(BindableCommand.UpperCase);

nothing happens.

Is this still the right way to change the Case?

Thanks in advance & Best regards

Hmm I'd have to look but I'm thinking Scintilla's uppercase function would only work for ascii characters. You're probably better off reading it into a .NET string calling ToUpper() and writing it back since it has much better cultural handling.

Thanks Chris I'll try it =)

edit:

Ok I did solve it as you proposed it with the .NET string operation.

Thanks again & best regards
